Disease:
Giant congenital melanocytic nevus, Noonan syndrome, Autoimmune lymphoproliferative syndrome, Cholangiocarcinoma, Core binding factor acute myeloid leukemia, Cytogenetically normal acute myeloid leukemia, Epidermal nevus,Lung cancer,Melanoma, and colon cancer
Next generation sequencing of gene panel. NRAS (neuroblastoma RAS viral (v-ras) oncogene homolog) encodes for the GTPase NRas protein, one of three human RAS proteins. RAS proteins are small GTPases that are central mediators downstream of growth factor receptor signaling and therefore critical for cell proliferation, survival, and differentiation
Specimen Requirements
Collection:
At least 0.5 ml EDTA, citrate (ACD) or Heparinized whole blood or bone marrow aspirates for DNA mutations

96hours/4 to 7 days refrigerated
Unacceptable Conditions:
Specimen submitted is in the incorrect fixative or anticoagulant. Specimen received after the stability date. Gross hemolysis. Frozen specimen. Insufficient specimen. Unlabeled. Left un-refrigerated for an extended period.
